This article will be taking you through the Database Modernisation feature. This feature allows us to recommend based on current Operation Systems, what services might be best applicable within AWS.

This page first requires that you complete populating the Databases section of the platform. The guide for this can be found here. Once you have populated this data into the platform, you will be able to take full advantage of this feature.
The table featured on the Database Modernisation page presents modernisation opportunities for your on-premises and cloud-hosted (VM) databases.
It indicates which databases are compatible with your selected cloud provider's databases-as-a-service offerings, highlights those requiring upgrades, and where certain versions may not yet be available.
Pricing for matched cloud database services is provided where applicable, across On-Demand, 1 Year Reservation or 3 Year Reservation.
